16th International Conference “Glass Producing Machines” and Seminar “Metals in Glass Technologies”

One of the key themes that resonated during the conference was energy saving within the glass industry, which is known for its high energy consumption. Various ways of reducing energy consumption and maximizing the efficiency of glass production were discussed.

Another important theme was the use of laser technology in various aspects of the glass industry. Laser technologies are beginning to replace traditional methods, which has the potential to increase efficiency and bring innovation to glass manufacturing. This is where it comes into play: a flame can be replaced by a laser.

At the end of the conference, the participants came together at an evening banquet, where they could discuss new knowledge and possible future projects and collaborations.

This conference was an important event for the glass industry and research in the field of glass machinery, technology, and metals in glass technology.
